Yes. Anyone can launch a product, vote, leave feedback, and join the ranking for free.

It gives a lightweight signal that the maker actually writes code. Email/Google/Kakao logins are not supported. A GitHub account is enough to sign up, browse, and leave structured feedback — voting requires a GitHub account that's at least 7 days old with at least one public commit.

Logged-in members whose GitHub account is at least 7 days old and has at least one public commit can vote. Self-votes are blocked, and suspicious patterns may be reviewed by admins. Members who don't meet the threshold can still sign up, browse, and post structured feedback.

For fair rankings. Every vote counts as exactly 1, with no weighting — voting itself is opened only to members who meet a baseline trust threshold. This avoids the confusion where the visible #1 differs from the actual #1.

The weekly #1 product is featured on JoCoding's Sunday live stream and in jocoLetter (the newsletter). It also receives a permanent ‘Featured on JocoHunt’ badge, the maker's profile records the win count, and it's listed forever at /leaderboard. Products ranked #2-#5 are also featured in jocoLetter when they have at least 5 votes.

It lets you choose a future launch date. On that date the product publishes alongside other scheduled launches, so you can prepare copy, screenshots, gallery and team info ahead of time.

Duplicate launches of the same product are blocked, but major updates / rebrands / new major versions can re-surface via the changelog feature. Final call is at admin discretion.

AI Tools, Developer Tools, Design, No-code, Productivity, Marketing, B2B SaaS, Web Apps, Mobile Apps, Creator Tools, Automation, Education, Games, Other — 14 categories total. Pick one or more when launching.

When launching, makers pick which feedback categories they want (UX, pricing, idea validation, naming, marketing, GTM). Commenters answer in one of those buckets. Only the maker can mark feedback as ‘helpful’, which adds to the commenter's reputation score.

Use the report action on a product or comment, or email the operator. Content that violates the terms may be hidden or removed after review.

Yes. Solo makers and small teams of 2 to 5 people are both welcome. Add team members at launch, and link each member's jocoHunt handle so they appear on the maker profile.

Yes — your handle is your profile URL (e.g. jocohunt.com/@yourhandle). Anyone can view your maker profile, launched products, and earned badges there.

Yes. /legal/badges has light/dark embed badge codes you can paste into your website or README. Clicking the badge sends visitors to your jocoHunt product page.

They are activity points you earn by helping other makers. The more your contribution genuinely helps a maker, the more it counts — and you spend the seeds you collect to turn on a feedback request on your own product. (We don't publish the exact earning formula, to discourage gaming.)

Once active, it shows as a pinned question above the comments on that product's detail page, in the ‘Products waiting for feedback’ section on the home page, and as a lightweight card in the community feed. It means ‘asking for feedback’, not an ad, and runs for one product for 72 hours.

No. Seeds are only used to request more feedback, and the weekly #1 is still decided purely by community votes. Seeds have no effect on vote counts, ranking, or who wins.
